Country Chic's was established in 2005 in the charming, historic bank building in Fithian, Illinois. We are a mother-daughter team, owned by Carolyn Frerichs and Stacy Anderson. We carry a wonderful collection of American reproduction furniture, Dunroven Fabric furniture, linens (curtains, shower curtains, dishtowels), pillows, quilts, rugs, shelves, folk art pictures, lighting, treenware, soy candles, soy & sugar body products, dips, desserts and primitives, to just name a few!!
Mom and I take great pride in giving our customers the best products at the best possible prices. We try all our products in our own homes so we know we are selling you the best! We believe in sharing our knowledge of decorating with you and trust me, mom is full of decorating ideas. We will even come to your home if you are having some trouble decorating yourself. Everyday we are blessed with wonderful comments of how good the store smells and how well it is decorated. OUR RECIPE!

Butter Pecan Bars
1 butter pecan cake mix
2 sticks butter (softened,
divided)
1 (8oz.) pkg. cream cheese
(softened)
3 3/4 C. powdered sugar
2 eggs
6-9 oz. pecans (chopped)
1st Layer: Mix together 1
stick butter and the cake
mix until crumbly and pat
down with a fork in the
bottom of a 12X17 JELLY ROLL
PAN.
2nd Layer: In a large bowl,
mix with a large spoon (not
electric mixer) the other
stick of butter, cream
cheese, powdered sugar and
eggs. Pour over the first
mixture and top with the
chopped pecans. Bake at 350
degrees for 30-40 minutes.
Refrigerate when cooled.
Hint: You must use the
largest jelly roll pan or
they will bake over in your
oven and you will have a
gooey mess!
